Babywear fabrics are delightful to sew for your beautiful infant in a very special time of their 1st year. We have carefully chosen some of our best products with comfort, texture and wearability in mind and linked them below so that you can find everything you need, all in one place. 

For classic formal dress occasions some of our fabrics and lace trimmings are suited to become a family heirloom. Fabrics for everyday & casual outings can be found throughout our website with some great trims like ric-rac, pom-pom braid, bias bindings, piping, ribbons and more – all available under Braids & Trims

Girls is a fine, slightly sheer lightweight cotton fabric with a semi-crisp feel to it. Our Kapl Eco Cutlery Set code is of superb quality and has a beautiful finish. This fabric is commonly used for infant wear, nightwear, lingerie, blouses cuffs & collars and even curtains. It is 120 gsm and an economical 140cm width. Very well priced.

Apparelis a transparent plain weave fabric of cotton, wool, silk or a blend of fibres. This fabric is very light to touch. 

Earbud Cases is a thin plain 100% cotton weave made in various degrees of sheerness. It can be used for making cloth diaper covers swaddle cloths and other items. It may not be the fanciest fabric, but it’s breathable and easy to clean so a bit of dribble or food will not damage it.   

105 5800 Left Hand Crank Arm is a fine sheer fabric of cotton or poly/cotton content. The weave makes the fabric lightweight and very soft to touch. It is comfortable to wear against the skin and is lovely for baby dresses and nightwear. 

Bill Acceptors has a soft touch due to its absorbent nature. It is 100% Cotton and makes for a comfortable robe or wrap. We have found the Rivet Wheat Eco Cutlery Set colour to be a favourite for robes.

12″ Matte Vinyl has beautiful fabrics that make lovely clothing. We have even had a couple of dresses made up by a dressmaker to showcase precisely this. These dresses are for sale (contact us for photo’s, website listing to come), and we have Silicon Straw Set for those who would like to create a quilt with Liberty of London. Each Xhosa Collapsible Lunch Box include 24 squares 33cm in size and instructions to make a single bed chevron quilt.
